We are currently crawling up the A1 - the new ETA is approx 2.20pm. As always the coach has managed to warp space and time on the way back getting us in 3 hours ahead of time.
We will drop off on Loughbrough Rd.
Please don't park in front of the school gates for pick up - leave a decent double coach space for us to park. One year we had to circle back round and park near the Hockey Club as the coach had no where to park!

We are back!
We are just rolling off the docks (9.30).
With stops that puts our arrival time home at around 3.30pm but I will post again at Leicester services.

Day 6 - Home time
So the final day of skiing has arrived and what a great holiday it has been.
An interesting quote from one the staff at the hotel "you have been one of the best schools we have had - what's amazing is that you staff obviously get on really well with the kids and the kids get on really well with you. It's great to see!"
The West Bridgford staff contingent all wish to thank all students on the trip for making this yet anther successful year.
Return details.
We are leaving the hotel at 6pm and are booked on the 9.05am ferry. This will arrive in the UK at approx 10.30. We should then arrive in Nottingham at approx 4pm. I will use this blog to post updates on our progress in the UK tomorrow and then send a parentmail text when we pass the Leicester services.

Day 5
Just another day in paradise - blue sky, great skiing, nice people.
Rather embarrassingly I (Mr Deans) have cockled over and bashed my shoulder on a slow blue run! Silly me. So no more piste based pictures from me. Anyway today's pictures below.

Day 4
I skied with the beginner group today - what a lovely bunch! While the pro's in the top group are whizzing along the beginners spend all their time laughing.
I have also included a few photos of last nights karaoke.

End of the first day.
A great days skiing! Sunshine for the whole day but -10 at the top with wind chill (thus the game of 'Guess the child' in the photo below - they are wrapped up against the cold).
Quiz night tonight though and 5 more hours of skiing in the morning.
It's interesting sharing a hotel with two other groups for the first time - our neighbours are fee paying boarding schools and very nice. I could be persuaded to share again.
More tomorrow.

1st morning skiing with top group
Gorgeous weather and excellent skiing.
The Hotel is basic but 30 secs from the slope. The staff are all UK and fall over themselves to help. Food of a good catering standard.
Still slightly zombied after the journey but smiles all round.
